Jamie Stephenson, founder of The Bar Academy has been a bartender for twenty years and has built a solid reputation as one of the best bartenders in the World. Regarded as somewhat of an authority on cocktails, Jamie was described as “officially the best cocktail maker in the universe” by Polly Vernon in the Observer Food Monthly. Tom Innes, editor of Flavour Magazine wrote “he has phenomenal drinks knowledge and makes terrific cocktails”. As the winner of five World Championship titles, Jamie exudes the professionalism, passion and dedication which has led him to claim the National Bartender of the Year awards from The Publican Newspaper (2002), CLASS Magazine (2004) THEME Magazine (2004), Flavour Magazine (2004) and Drinks international Magazine (2006). Jamie is now committed to educating and inspiring bartenders all over the World providing training built on many years of dedicated research and experience.
